Butler/Georgetown, Indiana/Pittsburgh comprise Jimmy V Classic

at Madison Square Garden on December 8.
This will be the debut for Georgetown and Butler in the event, while Indiana

Hoosiers topped North Carolina in 1999 and Pittsburgh beat Memphis in 2004.
The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 and honors the late
Jim Valvano, who was a legendary North Carolina State basketball coach and led
the Wolfpack to the national title in 1983. Since 1993, the Foundation has
raised more than $80 million to fund cancer research grants nationwide.
